Requestkit v2.0.0
Hey everyone! I’m super excited to share RequestKit V2 with you. This update brings several enhancements, fixes, and new capabilities.
⚡ Improved Skeleton Loaders
The skeleton loaders on public-facing pages (/p/:slug
) have been significantly improved! They now better resemble actual content instead of just a generic spinning loader. A more polished and natural loading experience is here!
👀 More Visual Cues for Better UX
Some of you reported confusion around the ‘Published’ checkbox in the settings page for managing hosted page settings. I’ve updated it to make it clearer that it needs to be toggled and saved. If you have more feedback, keep it coming! Your input helps shape RequestKit. 💡
📂 File Upload Support in API (NodeSDK V2.0.0)
Big news! RequestKit’s NodeSDK V2.0.0 now allows you to upload files when creating requests or comments. I’m actively working on making this process even easier and more intuitive, so stay tuned for more improvements!
🖼️ OpenGraph Image Fixes
Previously, OpenGraph images used some unsupported Tailwind classes, causing issues with how they displayed. That’s now fixed, ensuring better link previews across social media and other platforms.
⭐ Owner Badge – Stand Out as a Manager!
If you’re the owner of a hosted page or one of the collaborators, your avatar will now have a gold star ⭐ at the bottom left! This makes it clear that you’re part of the team managing the page. A simple yet effective way to highlight ownership!
📑 Pagination – Browse Requests with Ease!
You can now paginate requests on the hosted page! No more endless scrolling—navigate through requests smoothly and efficiently. Sorry for missing this one earlier! 😅
Upcoming Features
- Anonymous request, upvotes and comments creation on public page.
- No idea, what next. Please suggest.
This is just the beginning—there’s more to come! Thanks for being part of this journey, and as always, your feedback is invaluable. Let me know what you think! 🚀✨
